Logos

Two logos. One identity.

The WBEZ Chicago and WBEZ 91.5 logos are the visual foundation of our brand. They are bold and confident, while also being descriptive. One of these logos should always be prominently placed on all communications, depending on the channel.

Note: The Wordmark and Descriptor are not a required lock-up. They may be separated, or the Wordmark may be used alone without the Descriptor.

Media: Beyond Radio

When communicating on channels beyond radio use the WBEZ Chicago wordmark. This includes podcasts, streaming content, internet programming and content for smart speakers like Alexa. The WBEZ Chicago wordmark is typeset in Trade Gothic Bold Condensed No. 20 in Black and WBEZ Red. Do not format the logo yourself; instead use the provided logo files.

Radio-specific Content

With our roots in radio, we have brand equity with the station's call numbers 91.5. Use the 91.5 version to signify radio programming. When content appears in both radio and other media, use the WBEZ Chicago wordmark. The 91.5 wordmark is typeset in Trade Gothic Bold Condensed No. 20 and is set in Black and WBEZ Red. Do not format the logo yourself; instead use the provided logo files.

NPR Descriptor

The descriptor links our WBEZ Chicago brand to the national NPR brand to continue to establish trust in our community. The descriptor may be locked up with the WBEZ wordmark as shown here or separated from the wordmark. When separated it should always be placed equally and as prominently as the WBEZ wordmark. It is typeset in Trade Gothic Bold in Black. Do not format the descriptor yourself; instead use the provided descriptor files.
